Crossroads Cafe & Red House Tavern - Now Open!

Meet Elias & Eevy- just two of the eager, friendly faces greeting you and crafting beautiful signature drinks! Crossroads Cafe, of the new Hilton Garden Inn on Washington Ave., exclusively sources from the already-adored Haymarket Coffee Co., right next door. Inside is an incredibly spacious, yet cozy, VARIETY of cafe seating options. Red House Tavern is the bar and restaurant portion of the hotel's dining space. They opened to the public just a few weeks ago, and you will see me there, often!

Franny's Farmacy - Grand Opening!

Franny's Farmacy: Seed to Shelf Hemp and Health, opened today in Warranton, VA! It was a packed house in the cozy Vint Hill storefront, and they couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for it! The atmosphere was festive and charming, with food, tea, and treat samples, beautifully designed spaces and product displays. With a website oriented to education and transparency, customers can understand exactly what they are getting in the wide variety of hemp products. Check them out!

Fiesta Azteca - Grand Opening!

Congratulations to Emmanuel Muñoz, owner of Warrenton's newly christened Fiesta Azteca! This family-owned restaurant is the latest Mexican food endeavor taken by Emmanuel in a 35+ year career. Fiesta Azteca offers "a wide range of food showcasing a unique blend of Mayan and Aztec flavors," and an equally diverse atmosphere; you can enjoy seating at the bar, a traditional restaurant area, or a smaller and more intimate, high-top table section. The sights and smells are worth the trip! Congrats!

Pathway to 2040- PWC's plan for residential expansion

A lot is about to change in PWC! With studies predicting a deficit of housing due to density restrictions, land preserved against residential development, and an anticipated influx of residents by 2040, the Board of Supervisors is set to update the comprehensive county plan this year. Changes include rezoning, establishment of 8 “activity centers”, and an affordable dwelling unit ordinance. Community input is being sought leading up to the vote, and reactions are...mixed. Rivana at Innovation Station

On the border of Loudoun and Fairfax County, a new bucolic urban development is expected to begin construction in Q2 of this year! You'll see office, residential, retail, AND recreational spaces boom by 2024 in what is well-known to be the richest county in the United States. Designed to conform to Loudoun's comprehensive plan, it emphasizes walkability, cultural development, higher housing density, and new employment opportunity. The land use application is currently under review by the Board.
